Job summary

VP Management is seeking a Breakfast Cook/Attendant to prepare high-quality hotel breakfast items in accordance with recipes and guest preferences. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen, ensuring timely service, cleanliness, and safety throughout shifts.

The role requires experience in a hotel/restaurant kitchen, ability to follow recipes, strong attention to detail, and flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent guest interaction and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook/attendant or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes and multi-task under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and to the highest quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations as per health and safety regulations.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Handle equipment safely and report any malfunctions or issues.
• Adhere to portion control standards to minimize waste.
• Set up the breakfast buffet according to brand and company standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including wiping down tables, restocking utensils and condiments, and removing trash.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and assist with any needs or inquiries.
• Prepare and serve coffee, juice, or other beverages as needed.
• Monitor and restock food items throughout breakfast service to ensure an enjoyable experience for guests.
