Qualifications

• One or more years of previous experience as a line cook or similar culinary role is preferred.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients for various dishes following recipes and guidelines.
• Cook and grill a diverse range of menu items with precision and attention to detail.
• Set up and organize the cooking station before service.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of components.
• Inspect ingredients and finished dishes for quality, taste, and appearance.
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices to prevent cross-contamination.
• Understand menu offerings and assist with changes and updates.
• Keep the cooking station clean and organized.
• Monitor ingredient levels and notify management of shortages.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a positive work environment.
