Sazerac seeks a Market Development Representative to partner with on-premise and off-premise accounts, driving volume and distribution for our brands. You will lead brand-building efforts, guide distributors, and advance strategic programs across a diverse spirits portfolio.

This role requires location in or near the assigned territory, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG.
• Results driven with proven volume achievements.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive sales results.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours.
• Location: live in or near the territory.
• Ability to cover ordinary and essential business expenses that will be reimbursed.
• Must obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth solutions for assigned accounts and boost market share.
• Build brands by educating customers and leveraging consumer trends.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs for distribution, merchandising, display, and promotions.
• Build mutually valuable rapport with customers based on needs.
• Act as the communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
