Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Ambassador to drive sales through expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service. You will cultivate repeat clientele, coordinate with stylists and vendors, and execute merchandising initiatives to boost performance.

Full-time schedule typical 30+ hours per week; candidate should be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays while maintaining a welcoming, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year previous selling or retail experience required.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with computers and mobile devices; proficient with RF equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experiences with the customer as priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Serve as liaison between vendors, personal stylists and store leadership.
• Keep sales floor neat, signed, and ready for sales/markdowns.
• Create and implement best practices to drive sales, turn, and gross margin.
• Build brand-specific clientele for local marketing.
• Plan and lead vendor-sponsored events with vendor partnerships.
• Be proficient in Macy's POS to wrap up sales in a warm celebratory fashion.
• Foster an inclusive environment strengthening relationships with colleagues and customers.
