Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Ambassador to connect with customers, share product knowledge, and upsell across brands in a dynamic, store-based role. You’ll cultivate repeat clientele and coordinate with vendors and stylists to drive sales and merchandising initiatives.

Full-time colleagues are scheduled 30+ hours per week, with part-time options 12-24 hours. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and participation in vendor-sponsored events, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year previous selling or retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience and make the customer a priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Serve as a liaison between vendors, personal stylists and store leadership.
• Keep sales floor neat, signed, and organized for sales and markdowns.
• Drive sales and gross margin above company average.
• Build brand-specific clientele for local marketing.
• Execute vendor and non-vendor events to increase sales.
• Plan and lead customer-facing vendor events with vendor partners.
