Wintrust Financial Corporation seeks a Teller Services Coordinator to supervise branch functions, process customer transactions, and maintain operational soundness. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication as you delegate duties among staff.

You’ll oversee teller procedures, security, and customer service quality while promoting cross-sell opportunities and elevating the client experience across our community bank network.

Qualifications

• Previous teller experience required.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
• Travel between branches may be necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently run all branch operations and procedures.
• Keep staff informed of policy changes pertaining to teller operations.
• Solve operational issues proactively and promptly.
• Ensure security procedures are followed for staff and customers.
• Lead by example by assisting customers in lobby or drive-thru.
• Enforce adherence to bank policies to prevent losses and protect assets.
• Promote exceptional service and cross-sell opportunities to customers.
• Address customer concerns, including online banking and card issues.
• Refer customers to appropriate bank personnel for services.
• Participate in community events as needed.
