First Financial Credit Union in Redlands, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a 3-6 person team at our branch, ensuring service excellence and regulatory compliance. You will drive coaching, sales, and strong staff development within a collaborative environment.

You will work with the Branch Manager to oversee branch operations, improve service metrics, and ensure compliance with credit union policies.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a financial institution is required.
• Experience with Real Estate lending, Consumer Lending, and product knowledge preferred.
• Proven track record of increasing sales and profitability.
• Knowledge of Credit Union operations and audit experience.
• Supervisory skills to manage a staff of three or more.
• HR laws and regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the branch per policy.
• Coaches and develops employees to cross-sell and improve sales performance.
• Assist Branch Manager with staff development, including Personal Development Plans.
• Builds a positive culture and team morale.
• Ensure employee satisfaction and positive team culture.
• Recommend candidates for hire, termination, or discipline.
• Assist with funding consumer loans and review loan documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of branch operations including audits and certifications.
• Assist with directing daily branch activities and supervising staff.
