Job summary

Tri Counties Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Redding, CA to support the Branch Manager in achieving goals and delivering exceptional customer service. The role includes leading daily team huddles and coaching staff.

You will oversee branch operations, ensure compliance with policies and audits, manage scheduling and budgeting, and promote referrals to the platform sales team. A high school diploma is required; leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an undergraduate degree is preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Above average working knowledge of bank products and teller operations systems.
• Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows driven programs.
• Maintains a current understanding of bank policies and procedures in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team huddles and coach staff as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Meets performance goals as assigned.
• Promote referrals to the platform sales team by providing financial solutions and feedback.
• Manages branch operations and teller functions; keeps the Branch Manager informed.
• Ensure prompt, friendly customer service and accurate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with operating and regulatory guidelines and audits.
• Administers HR policies including hiring, evaluating, and salary recommendations.
• Manage staff scheduling, budgeting, and adherence to FTE guidance.
• Perform branch duties to ensure prompt service and maintain policy compliance.
