Job summary

Cathay Bank in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Branch Manager to support sales goals and oversee customer service and branch operations. You will supervise staff, develop coaching plans, and ensure compliance with bank policies, while driving growth and customer satisfaction.

The role requires leadership, cross‑sell capabilities, and bilingual English/Chinese skills to serve a diverse client base in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• College degree is a plus.
• Three to five years’ experience in a similar capacity with management/supervisory responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
• General knowledge of branch systems, efficiency and personnel policies.
• Direct sales experience desired.
• Computer experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Strong planning, organization and scheduling abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual English and Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with bank personnel and clients to deliver quality customer service.
• Profile customers during new accounts/teller processes to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop coaching and mentoring processes for staff to meet service, sales and operational goals.
• Establish and manage achievement of sales production goals.
• Support onboarding plans with Branch/Relationship Managers.
• Assist with loan inquiries and related functions if needed (MLO registration).
• Represent the bank in civic/community activities.
• Oversee branch operations, including new accounts, teller operations and safety.
