Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Branch Sales Manager for Modesto, CA. The role focuses on leading a local team, building relationships with diverse industrial customers, and driving sales in a field-based environment.

You will manage sales activities, develop personnel, and ensure achievement of revenue and margin goals while representing a global industrial distributor. This position emphasizes a strong customer base and field presence within a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year sales management and leadership experience.
• 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience with a tangible product.
• Industrial distribution experience is a plus.
• Operations and/or P&A experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Written and verbal communication including English grammar.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop strong performing team players.
• Develop, manage and implement service center sales activities & strategies, account assignment & territory management, sales performance goal achievement, margins.
• Identify and evaluate new customers, market conditions, opportunities, competitive pressures.
• Recommend and implement actions to maximize sales, increase margins, expand market share.
• Personal assigned accounts as required.
