Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Branch Sales Associate in Silverdale, WA to connect with walk-in customers and drive sales while performing warehouse tasks. You will manage the customer experience, select products, and safely load vehicles, shifting focus as needed throughout the day.

You will also help with merchandising, inventory, and showroom upkeep, using Grainger systems to support customer facing and warehouse activities, while complying with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier with help.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience including product selection and order entry.
• Safely pick items and load customer vehicles.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and build loyalty.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Prepare and stage will call orders and shipping product.
• Perform inventory counts and housekeep to Grainger standards.
• Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
