Job summary

Grainger, a leading MRO distributor, seeks a Branch Sales Associate to connect with walk-in customers, guide product selection, and enter orders accurately while safely loading vehicles.

You will also help with merchandising, perform inventory counts, and adapt your communication style for in-person, phone, or email interactions. This role requires physical readiness and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced retail or warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in order processing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the customer experience from product selection to order entry.
• Maximize sales opportunities and build customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, and in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders and shipping product.
• Prepare backorders and organize incoming stock.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Navigate multiple computer systems for customer-facing tasks.
• Maintain branch appearance and clean, safe work environment.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
