Job summary

Accendra Health in Visalia, CA, is seeking a Branch Coordinator to deliver excellent customer service to patients and providers, by phone and in person. You will ensure orders are processed accurately, collect required documentation for insurance billing, and support billing workflows.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities in a healthcare setting; knowledge of payor guidelines is a plus. This position offers a dynamic team environment and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year related work experience.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with branch team.
• Process orders, review systems, confirm deliveries, and verify insurance.
• Obtain authorizations/information to meet payor guidelines and bill health insurance plans.
• Review patient accounts and collect documentation to maximize insurance benefits.
• Collect payments, reconcile receivables, and submit to lock box.
• Conduct outbound patient satisfaction calls.
• May download data from devices and perform basic tests when needed.
