Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Branch Support Officer to represent the bank, assist clients with financial transactions, and support branch operations across assigned locations. This role requires travel between branches within a designated region and involves quality control, service delivery, and adherence to policies.

The position emphasizes supervisory responsibilities, daily workflow planning, and maintenance of audit standards while promoting a positive client experience and sales

Qualifications

• 5 years in branch operations is required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of banking operations and regulatory environment.
• Basic end-user knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in quality control for assigned region.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities, when appropriate, in accordance with the Bank’s policies.
• Plan and schedule the daily workflow and coordinate with other areas as required to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines.
• Assure high quality and friendly customer service and adherence to sales and brand standards.
• Resolve customer inquiries/complaints and situations in a positive professional and efficient manner.
• Promote effective sales and service environment.
• Monitor Tellers’ performance relative to losses, differences and referrals. When appropriate, coach for improved performance.
• Approve transactions within established guidelines.
• Participate in the opening and closing of branch. Conduct security inspection of building and grounds under dual control.
• Review daily reports and monthly certifications.
• Support branch in the achievement of satisfactory audit ratings.
• Identify and mitigate audit ratings.
• Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
• Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling’s.
• Manage, support, coach and train staff.
• Follow all established policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
