Job summary

Banc of California is hiring an Officer, Branch Operations Manager in Los Angeles to lead branch teams, drive service quality, and achieve growth targets. The role requires strong supervisory experience, deep regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to manage risk across daily operations.

You will work closely with the Branch Manager to optimize deposits, customer experience, and audit outcomes while coaching staff and maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• 7 years in branch operations, including 3 years supervisory or leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
• Mastery of the operational regulatory environment with thorough knowledge of banking operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership and motivation to ensure service, growth and goals.
• Supervise day-to-day branch operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Review daily reports and assist Branch Manager with deposit growth goals.
• Identify opportunities to refer new products and services to clients based on their financial goals.
• Coach and train staff to improve performance and ensure risk controls are followed.
• Conduct staff meetings and perform employee performance evaluations.
