Job summary

QXO invites high-potential students to join the 12-week Summer Internship Program, a structured development experience designed to expose you to a fast-paced, results-driven organization while building core business skills.

Interns work in branch operations across Roofing, Lumber and Building Materials, and Insulation & Installation, gaining hands-on experience in sales, service, inventory, logistics, and data-driven problem solving, with mentorship and a final project presentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professional tone with teammates and customers.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with curiosity and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day branch priorities.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations: sales, customer service, inventory, logistics.
• Work with leaders to understand customers, products, markets, and business priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data to improve processes and performance.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to connect operations to business goals.
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth, customer engagement, and efficiency improvements.
