Job summary

QXO is offering a 12-week Summer Internship Program designed to give students hands-on exposure to a fast-paced organization while developing essential business skills. Interns will work across Branch Operations in multiple divisions—Roofing, Lumber and Building Materials, Insulation & Installation—learning how branches serve customers, manage operations, and drive results.

You'll contribute to meaningful projects, receive mentorship, and complete a final project presented to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation date aligned to the internship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day branch priorities.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations including sales, customer service, inventory, logistics.
• Work alongside leaders to understand customers, products, markets, and business priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data to solve problems and improve processes.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to see how branch operations connect to the broader business.
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and inventory management.
• Build relationships with interns, mentors, leaders, and colleagues while developing business and communication skills.
• Seek and apply feedback to strengthen performance and professional capabilities.
• Complete a final internship project and present insights to QXO leaders.
