Job summary

QXO is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to join our 12-week program across U.S. branch locations in Roofing, Lumber, Building Materials, and Insulation & Installation.

You’ll work directly with branch leaders, gaining hands-on experience in day-to-day operations, sales support, and customer engagement. Under mentorship, you’ll complete defined objectives, present a final project, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s from an accredited college or university.
• Anticipated graduation Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day branch priorities.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations including sales, customer service, inventory, and logistics.
• Work with leaders to understand customers, products, markets and business priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data to improve processes and branch performance.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to connect operations to broader goals.
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth and operational efficiency.
• Build relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and leaders while developing communication and leadership skills.
• Seek feedback and complete a final internship project with insights and recommendations.
