Job summary

QXO invites energized students to join a 12-week Summer Internship Program embedded in branch locations across the United States. Interns gain hands-on exposure to day-to-day operations in Roofing, Lumber & Building Materials, and Insulation & Installation while working with local leaders.

You'll contribute to meaningful projects, learn about customers and markets, and develop business skills through mentorship, defined objectives, and a final presentation to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree candidate with graduation date Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with curiosity and learning mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in gaining hands-on business experience at QXO.
• Eligible to work full-time for the 12-week summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day priorities within your assigned branch.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations: sales, customer service, inventory, logistics.
• Work with QXO leaders to understand customers, products, markets, and priorities.
• Take ownership of tasks and use data to improve processes and branch performance.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities linking operations to the business.
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth, customer engagement, and efficiency.
• Build relationships with interns, mentors, leaders, and colleagues.
• Seek feedback and apply it to improve performance throughout the program.
• Complete a final internship project and present insights to QXO leaders.
