Job summary

QXO is seeking a Summer Intern to participate in a 12-week program embedded in branch operations across Roofing, Lumber, Building Materials, and Insulation & Installation in the United States. You will learn how branches serve customers, drive sales, manage inventory, and support business priorities with guidance from leaders.

The internship emphasizes meaningful projects, data-driven problem solving, and a final presentation of insights to QXO leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university with an anticipated graduation date Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Academic focus relevant to the internship or demonstrated interest in the applicable business area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions with team members, leaders, customers, and stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day business priorities within your assigned branch.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, logistics, and other core activities.
• Work alongside QXO leaders and team members to understand customers, products, markets, and business priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data and insights to solve problems, improve processes, and support branch performance.
• Build relationships with fellow interns, mentors, leaders, and colleagues while developing business, communication, and leadership skills.
