Job summary

QXO offers a 12-weekSummer Internship Program embedded across branches nationwide, giving students hands-on exposure to branch operations in Roofing, Lumber, Building Materials, and Insulation & Installation. Interns contribute to priority projects, learn from leaders, and present a final project with recommendations.

We seek students pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028 graduation, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Academic focus aligned with the internship pathway and business area.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professional interactions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day business priorities within your assigned branch.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, logistics, and other core activities.
• Work with QXO leaders to understand customers, products, markets, and business priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data to solve problems and improve processes.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to connect branch operations to the broader business.
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Build relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and leaders while developing business and leadership skills.
• Seek feedback and complete a final internship project with insights and recommendations.
