Job summary

QXO is seeking a Summer Intern for a 12-week, structured development program across branches in the United States. You will gain hands-on exposure to day-to-day operations in Roofing, Lumber & Building Materials, and Insulation & Installation while delivering meaningful projects.

You'll work with experienced professionals, receive mentorship, and complete a final project with insights and recommendations for leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's with graduation Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Able to work full-time for the 12-week internship

Responsibilities

• Contribute to branch projects and day-to-day priorities
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations (sales, service, inventory, logistics)
• Collaborate with leaders to understand customers, products, markets, and priorities
• Own assigned work and use data to improve processes and performance
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities
• Support initiatives for sales growth and operational efficiency
• Build relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and leaders
• Seek feedback throughout the program and present a final internship project to leaders
