Cathay Bank in Irvine, CA is seeking a Branch Manager who leads Customer Service and drives branch performance. You will supervise Relationship Bankers and Operations staff, ensure compliance, and foster a service-driven sales culture across all branch activities.

The role emphasizes staff development, performance coaching, and collaboration with the Branch and Regional teams to meet growth and profitability goals while maintaining regulatory standards and operational integrity.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in a similar capacity with management responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
• Direct sales experience preferred.
• Computer experience with MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with all levels of bank personnel and clients to deliver quality service.
• Profile customers during new accounts and teller transactions to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop and track individual performance goals with coaching and mentoring for staff.
• Establish and manage achievement of team and individual sales production goals.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager / Relationship Manager on onboarding plans and product setup.
• Support business development activities to grow branch profitability.
• May register as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) as needed.
• Represent the bank in community and professional activities.
