Cathay Bank in Irvine is seeking a Branch Manager/AVP to lead customer service, branch operations, and sales growth. You will supervise branch staff, ensure policy compliance, and drive performance against goals while collaborating with regional teams.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong people leadership, and bilingual English/Chinese preferences. A comprehensive benefits package and full-time status are offered.

Formación

• Three to five years' experience in a similar capacity with management/supervisory responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
• General knowledge of complex support systems, branch efficiency and productivity, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Good management skills with emphasis on planning, organization and scheduling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide service and sales leadership, model quality customer service and branch operations.
• Profile customers during new accounts and teller transactions to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop and track individual performance goals; coach staff accordingly.
• Manage sales production goals for team and individuals.
• Support onboarding plans with Branch/Relationship Manager and set up products/services.
• Assist marketing activities to drive branch growth and profitability.
• May register as Mortgage Loan Originator as needed.
• Represent the bank in community and professional activities.
