Job summary

Freedom Credit Union, MA is seeking a Branch Supervisor to assist the branch manager in day-to-day operations, support staff, and deepen member relationships. The role supports revenue growth, service quality, and risk management while helping with promotional campaigns and product initiatives at the branch level.

The candidate will supervise staff, handle teller functions, process loans and accounts, and maintain strong compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years previous financial institution experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory skills required.
• GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the overall daily activities of the branch including directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Process teller transactions, open new accounts, counsel members, and cross-sell appropriate products to meet sales goals.
• Develop relationships with commercial customers through calls/visits and assess needs to offer suitable products/services.
• Ensure branch transactions balance at close and help resolve balancing problems.
• Address member questions and complaints in the absence of the branch officer.
• Assist in conducting required security meetings and open/close the building per hours and security checks.
