Job summary

Georgia’s Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker Manager to lead Universal Banker I and II across a branch cluster, coaching staff, driving service and performance, and ensuring adherence to standards. The UBM reports to the Area Service Manager and works across locations to maintain consistency and member experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of retail banking or credit union experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory/leadership experience and ability to coach sales and service behaviors.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between multiple branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Universal Banker I and II employees within an assigned branch cluster.
• Set clear performance expectations and maintain coaching and development discussions.
• Lead onboarding, training, and integration of new hires; support succession planning.
• Monitor staffing levels, approve schedules, and assist with recruiting and deployment.
• Promote service standards and coach staff on member engagement and referrals.
• Utilize performance data to drive coaching opportunities and staff growth.
• Ensure compliance with branch procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
