Georgia’s Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker Manager to lead Universal Banker I and II across multiple branches. The role centers on coaching, performance management, staffing coordination, and delivering consistent member service while ensuring business results.

You will oversee onboarding, development, and deployment of staff, while traveling between branches to support staffing needs and maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3–5 years in retail banking or credit union environment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop employees, manage performance, and coach sales and service behaviors.
• Strong knowledge of deposit products, account opening procedures, consumer lending, referrals, branch operations, and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Directly supervise Universal Banker I and II employees within an assigned branch cluster.
• Establish clear performance expectations and maintain regular coaching and development discussions.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, observations, performance reviews, development planning, and recognition activities.
• Address performance concerns through coaching, counseling, and corrective action per Credit Union policies.
• Partner with Area Service Manager to identify and develop high-potential employees and support succession planning.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and integration of newly hired employees.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure employees understand organizational priorities, expectations, and performance standards.
• Coordinate employee schedules and daily staffing coverage across branches.
• Approve attendance, time-off requests, and schedule adjustments; monitor staffing levels.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and candidate-selection processes.
• Travel among branches to provide leadership support.
• Promote consistent delivery of service standards; coach for engagement and service recovery.
• Lead by example through productivity and engagement with members.
• Monitor feedback and identify coaching opportunities to improve delivery.
