Insurance Office of America is seeking a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines to lead the IOA branch operations, drive strategic plans, and manage performance, budgeting, and HR processes. The role includes serving as Account Manager for a defined book of business and collaborating with sales leadership.

The ideal candidate combines leadership experience, active P&C licensing, and strong communication with a focus on policy, process, and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging industry knowledge.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Active property & casualty licensing required.
• Exceptional account management skills; spend up to 50% of time on book of business.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision/mission for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and merger/acquisition evaluation.
• Ensure HR processes and policies are followed.
• Establish and monitor productivity, efficiency, and service standards.
• Encourage growth and development of personnel.
• Develop future branch operations leaders.
