Job summary

The hybrid role requires leading the branch operations team, managing budgets, and aligning with regional leadership. You will also personally manage a book of business and participate in acquisitions as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance industry experience with broad knowledge.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Active property & casualty licensing is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L and control costs.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision for the branch.
• Recruitment and onboarding and evaluate merger opportunities.
• Manage staff actions and succession planning.
• Ensure HR processes and policies compliance.
• Monitor performance standards and drive productivity and quality.
• Encourage growth and development of personnel.
• Develop future branch operations leaders and promote IOA values.
• Identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor performance data and communicate with leadership.
• Collaborate on resolving operational issues with sales personnel.
• Spend up to 50% of time on account management.
