Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines. The role combines leadership of branch operations with direct account management of an assigned book of business.

The hybrid position requires coordinating with multiple offices and ensuring policy compliance, financial targets, and staff development. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in the industry, 2+ years of management, and an active P&C license, with strong communication and negotiation skills

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging knowledge
• 2+ years of management experience
• Active property & casualty licensing
• Exceptional Account Management skills, spending 50% of time managing a book of business
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and manage operations team
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch
• Manage branch P&L, costs, and financial goals
• Oversee budgeting and policy implementation
• Promote IOA values and improve engagement
• Allocate up to 50% of time to account management for an assigned book of business
• Collaborate with Regional Director of Operations and sales leadership
• Recruit, onboard, and develop branch staff
