Job summary

Partners Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager I to lead daily branch operations, coach staff, and drive customer sales of deposits and loans. You will ensure compliance with policies, assist in hiring and evaluations, and cover leadership in the Market Manager’s absence.

You'll oversee teller and customer service activities, participate in performance reviews, and engage with the community to promote the bank’s products and services while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of supervisory, sales, service and operations experience in a financial institution.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer sales, service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Adapt easily to change and multitask.
• Excellent organizational, problem resolution and computer skills.
• Proven supervisory skills to motivate and direct staff.
• Knowledge of branch, teller and customer service processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations and ensure staff compliance with procedures.
• Ensure branch cash audits and security reports are completed on schedule.
• Oversee teller and customer service staffing for adequate coverage.
• Coach and cross-train staff across operations, compliance, sales and service.
• Engage in sales activities to promote bank products and services.
• Sell and service deposit and consumer loan products.
• Participate in performance evaluations and documentation.
• Assist in hiring branch tellers and staff and disciplinary actions.
• Capable of temporarily managing the branch in the Market Manager’s absence.
• Represent the bank at community events.
