Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Operations Manager / People Leader to lead a branch and drive world-class service. After 90 days of training, you will manage operations, coach staff, and travel 25% to branch offices.

You’ll relocate within the division, guide revenue growth, and ensure compliance with all laws and company policies. You will oversee P&L, balance expenses, recruit and mentor teams, and collaborate with senior leadership on hiring and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven success driving revenue for a Home Services company.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• 5-7 years of multi-operational or sales management experience.
• 5-7 years of P&L responsibility experience and expense control.
• 5-7 years of customer relations experience.
• 5-7 years of P&L management and business processes.
• 5-7 years of operations or sales management experience with a results-driven company.
• 5-7 years of proven profitable growth and mentoring/coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead a branch location after completing 90 days of training.
• Travel in the field for branch office visits ~25% of the time.
• Be willing to relocate within the division geography for higher roles.
• Inspire the team to deliver top-notch service and continuous improvement.
• Drive revenue growth and hold teams accountable for results.
• Manage P&L and invest in growth while balancing margins.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain policies and procedures for all company vehicles.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate and coach.
• Drive sales initiatives and results.
• Identify cost savings and customer service improvements.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and HR on hiring, promotions, succession, performance improvements, and terminations.
• Promote positive employee relations and high morale.
• Maintain technical pest management knowledge.
