Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Operations Manager / People Leader to architect a high-performing team delivering world-class service. You’ll drive branch revenue growth, manage the P&L, and lead field operations with 25% travel.

This role is a stepping stone to regional leadership, with relocation within the division and mentorship across teams. You will recruit, coach, and develop talent, uphold safety and compliance, and partner with senior leadership on strategic staffing and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Documented success driving revenue for a Home Services company.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• 5–7 years: multi-operational or sales management experience.
• 5–7 years: P&L responsibility with expense control.
• 5–7 years: customer relations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a branch location after 90 days of training.
• Travel to branch offices for visits about 25% of the time.
• Relocate within the division geography for higher roles.
• Inspire the team to deliver top-notch service and continuous improvement.
• Drive revenue growth and hold teams accountable for results.
• Manage P&L and invest in growth while controlling expenses.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Oversee company vehicles policies and safety.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate and coach staff.
• Drive sales initiatives and improve customer service.
• Collaborate with leadership on hiring, promotions, succession, and performance decisions.
• Promote positive employee relations and high morale.
• Maintain industry knowledge in pest, termite, and operations.
