Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Operations Manager / People Leader to guide a branch to high performance, delivering exceptional service while meeting financial goals. You’ll lead a growing team, travel for branch visits, and relocate as needed within the division to pursue higher roles.

You will drive revenue, manage a P&L, and collaborate with senior leadership to recruit, coach and promote a winning culture. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic growth in a trusted industry leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within first 90 days (paid by the company).
• 5-7 years of multi-operational or sales management experience.
• 5-7 years of P&L responsibility experience.
• 5-7 years of demonstrated customer relations experience.
• 5-7 years of experience with P&L management and business processes.
• 5-7 years of operations or sales management experience with a results-driven company.
• 5-7 years of proven ability to achieve profitable growth.
• 5-7 years of mentoring, coaching, motivating and training.

Responsibilities

• Assume leadership of a branch location after 90 days of training.
• Travel in the field for branch office visits about 25% of the time.
• Be able to relocate within division geography for higher roles.
• Inspire your team to deliver top-notch service and continual improvement.
• Drive revenue generation and growth with daily activity check-ins.
• Manage P&L and strategically invest to balance margins.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Oversee company vehicle policies and accountability.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate and coach staff.
• Drive sales initiatives and results.
• Identify cost savings and improved customer service initiatives.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and HR on hiring, promotions, succession and performance decisions.
• Promote positive employee relations and uphold operating standards.
• Maintain knowledge in pest, termite, sales and operational management.
