Job summary

USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union in West Haven, CT is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations and staff in the absence of the Branch Manager. The role requires knowledge of products, policies, and member development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years in financial services with at least 1.5 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; strong sales orientation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures in member and staff interactions.
• Provide operational support to staff by phone and in person; handle member escalations promptly.
• Supervise daily branch operations and personnel; maintain branch controls and security.
• Provide ongoing coaching, development, and training for staff and new hires.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with management to meet sales and strategic branch goals.
• Conduct outreach to explore new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Assist and perform branch functions as needed to ensure prompt member service.
• Provide coverage for other branches in the region as required.
