Job summary

Rexel USA in Michigan seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support the branch's mission, oversee daily operations, and act as the manager in the manager's absence. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, personnel, inventory, equipment, and overall business results.

You will drive profitability using digital tools, train and supervise associates, resolve customer issues, and maintain relationships with key customers. Scheduling, expense monitoring, and occasional deliveries are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in sales/operations or electrical distribution.
• Leadership experience preferred and forklift/warehouse certification a plus.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, safety, and branch expenses.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch profitability using digital tools to maximize performance.
• Develop, train, and supervise associates; schedule staff coverage.
• Handle customer service issues and maintain key customer relationships.
• Perform inventory control and ensure branch safety standards.
• Assist in deliveries and upkeep of branch facilities and equipment.
