Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking a hands-on Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations and support technicians in Tucson. You will coordinate dispatch, assist customers, and drive a productive, service-focused culture.

The ideal candidate has technical or mechanical experience, strong leadership, and enjoys working directly with technicians and customers. Competitive pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Technical, mechanical, field service, or commercial equipment experience preferred.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or service management experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand technician skill sets and service needs.
• Organized, dependable, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Must pass background check and drug screen; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach field service technicians with technical and day-to-day service needs.
• Own and coordinate dispatch, matching the right technician to each service call.
• Help build a positive, accountable, team-focused branch culture.
• Assist with technician scheduling, training, onboarding, and development.
• Answer customer calls, greet walk-in customers, and handle escalated issues.
• Assist with branch administrative duties, service documentation, parts coordination, and billing support.
• Help with shipping, receiving, inventory, and technician truck stock.
• Support the Branch Manager with daily operations during absences.
