General Parts is seeking a hands-on Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily operations, support field technicians, and deliver excellent customer service. The role involves dispatch coordination, customer interaction, and supervising day-to-day branch activities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical or mechanical background preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to understand technician needs and service requirements.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach field service technicians with daily needs.
• Coordinate dispatch and match technicians to service calls.
• Help build a positive, accountable branch culture.
• Assist with technician scheduling, onboarding and development.
• Answer customer calls and greet walk-in customers; handle escalations.
• Assist with branch admin, service docs, parts coordination, and billing support.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and truck stock.
• Support Branch Manager and cover absences as needed.
