General Parts is seeking a hands-on Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, support field technicians, and deliver excellent customer service. Pay ranges from $60,000 to $63,000 annually based on experience, with opportunities for growth in a motivated team environment.

The role emphasizes coordinating dispatch, coaching technicians, and maintaining a positive branch culture while ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and customer satisfaction in Tucson.

Qualifications

• Technical, mechanical, field service, or commercial equipment experience preferred.
• Leadership, supervisory, or service management experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess technician skills and service needs.
• Organized, dependable, hands-on, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Driving record aligns with safety standards.
• Successful background check and drug screen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach field service technicians with technical needs.
• Coordinate dispatch, matching technician to service call by skill and location.
• Help build a positive, accountable, team-focused branch culture.
• Assist with technician scheduling, training, onboarding, and development.
• Answer customer calls, greet walk-ins, and handle escalated service issues.
• Assist with branch administrative duties, service documentation, parts coordination, and billing support.
• Help with shipping, receiving, inventory, and technician truck stock.
• Support the Branch Manager with daily operations and cover absences.
