Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Supervisor in Jacksonville to lead daily branch operations and a team, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to banking policies. The role focuses on coaching staff, optimizing resources, and driving branch sales through strategic planning.

You will oversee lobby and teller operations, manage risk and compliance, and represent the branch at community events while supporting overall branch objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail banking experience required.
• Supervisory, leadership or mentorship experience required.
• Branch operations experience required.
• Cross selling experience required.
• Sales management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations of the branch including the lobby and teller line, establishing staffing schedules, performing audits, evaluating employee performance, and monitoring compliance.
• Recruit, train, coach, lead, schedule, motivate, and evaluate the work of a team.
• Responsible for optimizing use of resources to meet operational needs of the branch.
• Demonstrate effective sales strategies to attract, expand, and retain customer relationships and guide team to achieve sales objectives through action planning.
• Oversee the customer experience within the branch assessing customer and employee feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement, and researching and resolving complex problems to ensure customer service excellence.
• Manage branch safety, security, and compliance.
• Represent the bank in business development efforts and at networking and community functions.
