Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Manager in Tallahassee to lead daily branch operations, drive client relationships, and ensure service excellence across lobby and teller areas. You will coach staff, manage scheduling, implement sales strategies, control risk and compliance, and collaborate with leadership to achieve branch and company objectives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail banking experience required.
• Supervisory, leadership or mentoring experience required.
• Branch operations experience required.
• Cross selling experience required.
• Sales management experience preferred.
• Consumer credit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations of the branch including the lobby and teller line, establishing staffing schedules, performing audits, evaluating employee performance, and monitoring compliance.
• Recruit, train, coach, lead, schedule, motivate, and evaluate the work of a team.
• Responsible for optimizing use of resources to meet operational needs of the branch.
• Demonstrate effective sales strategies to attract, expand, and retain customer relationships and guide team to achieve sales objectives through action planning.
• Oversee the customer experience within the branch assessing customer and employee feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement, and researching and resolving complex problems to ensure customer service excellence.
• Manage branch safety, security, and compliance.
