Job summary

Ameris Bank in Florida seeks an experienced Branch Manager to lead a dynamic team and drive retail banking growth. You will oversee daily branch operations, sales, and service excellence while safeguarding assets and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing business, coaching staff, and representing the bank at community events to strengthen customer relationships and the brand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail banking experience required.
• 1+ year of supervisory, leadership or mentoring experience required.
• Branch operations experience required.
• Cross selling experience required.
• Sales management and business development experience required.
• Consumer credit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute weekly outside business development objectives to acquire commercial deposits. Track progress via CRM including calls, pipeline and conversions.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate a branch team to meet service and sales objectives.
• Oversee branch safety, security, audits, and compliance to protect assets and customers.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure outstanding service within the branch.
• Represent Ameris Bank at community events and in networking activities while upholding core values.
