Job summary

East West Bank is seeking a Branch Operations Lead in California to deliver a high-touch, high-tech banking experience across all customer touchpoints. You will supervise staff, assist customers with everyday banking needs, and support the branch team in achieving sales and operational excellence.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and 3+ years of customer service or teller experience in banking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service, teller, or sales experience in banking/financial services.
• Strong working knowledge of branch operations.
• Familiarity with teller equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers and loan payments.
• Supervise junior staff and provide guidance and approvals.
• Support the Assistant Branch Manager in sales, service and operations.
• Refer customers to Business Relationship Managers for needs assessment.
• Promote digital resources to optimize clients’ digital banking experience.
• Educate clients on online banking, mobile banking and ATMs.
• Provide back-up support for branch certifications and audits.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
