Job summary

Wichita Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Supervisor to support the Branch Manager in guiding member services staff and achieving branch goals.

The role involves supervising staff, ensuring policy compliance, handling cash and transactions, and delivering an outstanding member experience across branch operations. Strong communication, supervision, and cash-handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Two years' cash handling experience preferred (financial institution).
• 1-2 years member service or sales experience.
• 1-2 years supervision experience.
• Advanced computer skills; proficient MS Office.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow up with others regarding information needed or provided.
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
• Able to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to adhere to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Share responsibility for the operation of the branch in the absence of other leadership.
• Apply Credit Union policy and procedure to supervision of the branch and hold employees accountable.
• Maintain a motivated, well-trained staff and handle staffing and scheduling.
• Resolve operational problems and approve transactions; answer questions for staff.
• Back-up support for member services: cash handling, balancing cash drawer, resolving member concerns, account openings and processing transactions.
• Engage members in financial conversations and recommend services to improve their finances.
• Serve as a role model by delivering excellent member experiences.
• Identify and resolve more complex issues as a resource.
• Perform branch opening/closing and Saturday supervisor rotation.
• Follow policies to manage risk and prevent fraud; protect members and assets.
• Maintain cleanliness, security of work area, desk, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisors.
