Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking a Branch Operations Intern in a 100% onsite program designed for current juniors or seniors studying Business or Finance. You will gain hands-on exposure to loan origination, processing, closings and funding while receiving compliance training and leadership development opportunities.

The role requires 18–20 hours per week, strong communication, and eligibility for insurance licensing.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to work 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing based on background check by the state's department of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Learn loan process and regulatory training through accelerated Assistant Branch Manager training.
• Assist in loan origination, processing, closings and funding, including file prep and auditing.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional paths and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to Branch Operations.
• Learn about process-improvement projects within Branch Operations.
• Get overview of corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valuable.
