Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking a Branch Operations Intern for an on-site program in Metairie, LA. This internship targets current Juniors/Seniors in Business or Finance to gain real-world experience in branch operations and customer service.

You will participate in loan processes, compliance training and leadership development with the goal of transitioning to full-time employment after graduation. The role pays $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility requirements for insurance licensing based on a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Be licensed and complete accelerated training to learn loan processes and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily loan origination, processing, closings and fundings, including file prep and auditing.
• Learn career paths by meeting with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process improvement related projects.
• Explore corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valued and be introduced to benefits.
