Job summary

SECU is seeking a customer-oriented teller to greet members, open and maintain accounts, and handle routine financial transactions. You will balance cash drawers, operate a drive-thru, and prepare reports while delivering courteous, confidential service in a busy branch.

The role requires accurate math, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn the Margo system. Training and ongoing development are provided to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Must speak English fluently and maintain professional communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment and exercise sound judgment under pressure.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Regular attendance according to schedule is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and respond to their needs or direct them to the appropriate person or source.
• Educate members on available services and recommend based on their needs.
• Process new memberships, open accounts, and handle account changes.
• Balance cash drawer and vault, and manage cash-related reports.
• Operate drive-thru window and handle clerical duties as needed.
• Record daily/monthly reports and manage cash transmissions.
• Assist with account problems, reconciliations, or errors in transactions.
• Refer to approving officer for credit line advances when needed.
