Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Branch Manager in New Jersey. You will be accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for the assigned location, achieving EBIT, ROS, and ROIC targets, while safeguarding assets and leading a capable team to meet service and financial goals.

You will build relationships with customers, collaborate with leadership, monitor local market trends, and drive growth through effective staffing, training, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience.
• Experience leading warehouse, counter, and operations teams.
• Coaching, development, and accountability of associates.
• Experience with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Drive engagement and lead through change in operations.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counts, receiving, shipping and warehouse operations.
• Experience managing productivity, process improvement, and operational execution.
• Identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of logistics, fleet utilization, and freight management.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for assigned location(s).
• Safeguards company assets and provides operational oversight.
• Ensures staffing levels to meet service, financial, and operational needs.
• Initiates and builds customer relationships with existing and new customers.
• Collaborates with functional leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution.
• Monitors local market trends and grows local market share.
• Works with vendors to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensures compliant operations and safety responsibilities.
