Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Branch Manager in California. You will own P&L, manage inventory and receivables, and lead staffing to meet service and financial goals. You will build relationships with customers and work with leadership to resolve issues while monitoring local market trends to grow share.

A vehicle is required for portions of the week and an MVR check will be conducted. The role emphasizes safety, policy adherence, and ongoing training to develop sales and operations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for assigned location(s).
• Safeguards company assets and associates. Provides operational oversight and inventory management.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels and utilizes training to develop sales/ operations expertise.
• Initiates and builds customer relationships with existing and new customers.
• Acts as liaison to functional leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Monitors local market trends and develops strategies to grow local market share.
• Works closely with vendors to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensures efficient operations through adherence to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• This position requires operation of a company vehicle or personal vehicle >20% of the work week with MVR check.
