White Cap, a leading North American distributor for professional contractors, is hiring immediately for a Branch Manager at our California location. You will be accountable for profit and loss, inventory, and accounts receivable for the assigned location, while leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in a related field, experience with staffing, and strong vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Operation of a company vehicle may be required with an MVR check.
• Experience with sales order software; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for assigned location(s).
• Safeguards company assets and oversees inventory procedures.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet service, financial, and operational needs.
• Initiates and builds customer relationships with existing and new customers.
• Liaises with functional leadership to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitors local market trends and grows local market share.
• Works with vendors to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and safety/regulatory duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
